Cameron Diaz Won’t Get Married

Cameron Diaz is currently dating Yankees star Alex Rodriguez, but she’s made it very clear that she doesn’t plan to marry him or anyone else. In a few different recent interviews, she stated repeatedly that marriage is a dying institution. She thinks that marriage is an old tradition that doesn’t “suit our world any longer.” We have to create our own rules and traditions. She also says,

“I think a lot of people are married to people they’re not romantic with any more. I just didn’t ever marry anybody that I then had to get divorced from. We break up. We move on.”

Despite these views, Diaz insists that her relationship with Rodriguez is “awesome.” She believes that the key to a successful relationship is challenging men and not overreacting to things guys say.

“Guys need women who challenge them and don’t let them get away with their sh–.”
