Emma Watson reveals why she really dropped out of Brown University

When Emma Watson announced that she was leaving Brown University, there was speculation that she left because she was being bullied by the other students. She has since denied that any bullying took place, and is now opening up about the real reasons for leaving the school.

According to the young actress, she couldn’t fit college into her hectic schedule.

“I was in denial. I wanted to pretend I wasn’t as famous as I was. I was trying to seek out normality, but I kind of have to accept who I am, the position I’m in and what happened.”

Watson also admits that making friends at school was harder than she expected. Instead of bullying, the atmosphere was the exact opposite and no one paid any attention to the fact that she is a celebrity.

“I threw a party for nearly 100 students and not a single person put a photo on Facebook.”

She was disappointed that she didn’t have any luck with love either. Emma said her friends told her that guys are “intimidated” by her and therefore wouldn’t “ever pursue” her.

So, she dropped out of school because no one wanted to party with her or date her? Shouldn’t she be happy that people actually let her live her life without constantly acknowledging that she’s famous?

this is an absolutely TERRIBLE article. you completely took her quote out of context. when she says no one put a picture on facebook she simply meant that she was able to be with her friends and not have to worry about stupid kids putting embarrassing photos on facebook….NOT that no one would talk to her.

    man, youre a bad writer.
