Britney’s Custody Battle – Take 7012

The nightmare custody battle between Britney Spears and her ex-husband Kevin Federline continues. How many hearings have been in place at this point, hard to say. But Britney certainly hasn’t made it easier on herself. This morning was her first return to court regarding custody since she came out of the looney bin, sorry, mental health wing of the UCLA Medical Center.It’s highly unlikely there will be any change to what is in place now. She is not allowed physical access to her boys Preston who is 2, and Jayden who is 1, and hasn’t been since her first major wingnut move on January 3rd. She is allowed phone access, but let’s call it a spade, the girl needs her dad to babysit her. Physical access is unlikely.

However, it seems if it were up to K-Fed, he’d let the kids in with her on occasion as long as her parents were present. We’re not talking sleepovers here, just the odd visit here and there.

To just grind her even more, K-Fed’s attorney, Mark Kaplan is asking for yet another pscyh. eval on the poor girl. Um, has he forgotten she JUST came out of the bin? I am sure the good people at the UCLA Medical Center did more than a few during her visit there. But me thinks this is just a way to stall things in the whole matter.

Britney has other legal issues she needs to work through in the meantime. Her lawyer, Sorrell Trope, is begging the courts to be released from the case, first time the request was withdrawn (by him) and now he’s asking them again. I guess the heat was getting a little too much for him, but honestly, what did he expect by taking on Britney Spears as a client?

Will she get her kids back? Do you think she should? Here’s a better question, will she even show up in court?
