The Black Eyed Peas Are Taking A Break

The Black Eyed Peas have announced that they are taking an “indefinite break.”

At a recent show in Staffordshire, England, the band told their fans that they’re taking a break from making music together. Fergie broke the news to the crowd by revealing that the show would be the last time they were in England together for a while. She also thanked fans for supporting the Black Eyed Peas for so long.

“We want you to know that we love you and thank you for the support you’ve given from the beginning.”

She assured the crowd that the group isn’t breaking up though, and that they’ll see the band together again. Will.i.am. also reassured fans that the band would make music together again. He tweeted,

“The @Bep will take a break after the beginning…just like we did from monkey business to the e.n.d…but it doesn’t mean we stop creating.”

The group has taken breaks before, including a lengthy one from 2005 to 2009. Each member probably just wants some time to work on their individual careers before they make more music as a group.
