Anne Hathaway was spotted stepping out in Los Angeles where she ran some quick errands. The actress recently gave her usual long curly hair the chop into a short Mia Farrow circa her golden years pixie look. She wore a gingham monochrome strapless maxi-dress teamed with a statement beaded necklace and black flat leather sandals for the outing, and she also toted along an oversized bag and jacket. Anne’s new hair makes a huge statement, and although it is obviously not to everyone’s taste, she definitely rocks it, especially when teamed with those dark sunglasses.
This is a simple, casual look that works on Anne and accents her svelte figure. She has clearly devoted a lot of time and effort into getting the right look for her part as Fantine in Les Miserables because this is quite a dramatic makeover. Not only has she reportedly dropped quite a bit of weight (she certainly looks slender) but she did the thing many of us ladies fear: she bravely cut off her gorgeous hair!
