For the New York premiere of new film ‘Les Misérables’ Oscar shoo-in Anne Hathaway transformed into an icy queen on the red carpet, donning a gothic inspired glamorous look for the big event. Anne selected a black silk dress which hugged her body delicately and featured a statement back drape section which made a huge, original fashion statement. It also featured a clever leg slit which showed off Anne’s fantastic footwear choice: a pair of heeled strappy/gladiator sandals that went perfectly with the ensemble and make it stand out even further.
With her new shorter hair which she cut specifically for the role, styled simply here with a flattering side parting and with blood red lips, Anne becomes a powerful force on the red carpet, blowing her other costars out of the water in this visually stunning look. It’s so modern and yet with elegance and grace too.
