And What’s Our Britney Been Up To Lately?

My my, our little comeback girl has been keeping herself busy. Between working on a new album and filming a video for Madonna, she has been putting herself to good use by supporting charity as well.

On Saturday evening she attended the fundraiser called Generation Rescue, a fundraiser supported also by Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey, and is an organization dedicated to researching and curing autism. All reports were that Britney looked fabulous and appeared very happy.

Though she did stick close to her assistant Brett and didn’t really speak to anyone, she smiled and clapped during all the appropriate moments. Which is odd, perhaps she’s not on the total upswing as many would think as she is not really known for being anti-social or camera shy, but those meds WILL do that to you.

In other Britney news, she’s lost the case for custody. For now. She was hoping to get a 50/50 split with K-Fed but it’s not the case. She did however get formalization to the current arrangement however. She will get them two days a week, with one overnight, and is promised another overnight during the week ‘by the year’s end’.

And to make matters worse, her child support has been upped from $15K a month to $20K a month. Yep, $20,000 a month, or, $240, 000 a year in child support. Man, that K-Fed really saw her coming, didn’t he?

But his lawyer belts out K Fed’s woes, saying it’s been a horrible ordeal for him, and he is just glad it’s over. Well I guess, an extra almost quarter mil a year in his pocket? I’d be happy too!
