Some of these celebs say they stay down to earth by trying to live their life as normally as possible, while others speak on having close friends and family to support them and talk to, which keeps them well adjusted even as they continue to reach new heights on fame.

High School Musical actress Ashley Tisdale says she keeps grounded by appreciating everything she gets to do: “I don’t take anything for granted. I’m always excited for everything that I do; it’s like the first time. Which is something that is always fresh feeling, I love that. I never want to get jaded like that.”
AnnaLynne McCord
90210 actress AnnaLynne McCord works with charities to keep grounded and feels blessed to have her job: ”I feel really blessed to be in this position. I feel like it’s my obligation to keep a strong face. I work several charities that I support and like to raise awareness for them. I like to say thank you to everyone who has put me here with their support and sheer positivity, I feel blessed.”
Selena Gomez
Selena Gomez believes that she owes it to her fans to stay grounded: “It’s a very hard business and I feel like people don’t really understand what we go through. We’re kids. People make mistakes. People have to figure out what we like and don’t like. I have a great family. I have parents that treat me like a normal kid. I know that I have a responsibility [to my fans].”

Miley Cyrus said in a recent interview that she has to stay grounded in order to balance everything in her life – work, her boyfriend, school and family: “I stay grounded. I am not a proud person… but… I haven’t changed at all. And I take real pride in that.”

Teen sensation Justin Bieber says he tries to live life as normally as possible by behaving just like everyone else as much as he can: “When people say I’m not normal, it’s wrong. I’m as normal as it gets. I hang out with my friends, I go to the movies. I might not go in the front entrance, but I still go.”

‘Up in The Air‘ actress Anna Kendrick shot to fame, but manages to stay grounded these days by continuing to live her life the way she always has, and she says not much has changed: “I haven’t really changed. I feel really lucky to be doing the work I’m doing, but everything else around me is basically the same. I still prefer sitting at home watching movies instead of going out to bars.”
Vanessa Hudgens
Vanessa Hudgens, who hit the big time after starring in High School Musical was lucky enough to be good friends with her costars who helped her stay grounded: “A lot of people may get lost in the lights and glamour of it all. It should be about the work first and everything else later, I also had (HSM co-stars) to grow with, like Ashley (Tisdale) and Zac. We all went on this journey together and had each other to fall back on. You’ve got to have your friends to keep your head on straight.”
