5 Straight Male Stars Who’ve Experimented With Men

Experimenting with their own sexuality in their younger years, these 5 straight male stars all said they’ve had experiences with men in the past. Although following their experimentations they realized that they identify as straight, they were open minded and decided to try out a gay experience to see if they enjoyed it or if it turned them on. Some even had gay relationships which were exposed later on in their lives nad which they addressed when it make tabloid headlines. Others have just openly spoken on their sexual experimentations because they feel as though there is nothing to be ashamed of and it’s just a part of figuring out your own sexuality as you grow up.

Alex Reid

Alex says he isn’t gay but has experimented to see what it’s like: ”I don’t smoke but I have tried a cigarette. That was a long, long time ago when I was experimenting to find out what I was all about. Clearly I like women – I want to be with a woman. I’m obsessed with women. I’m brave enough to say that.”

Dave Navarro

Dave has had sexual experiences with men but has figured out that he isn’t even bisexual: “I’ve come to realise through my experimentation over the years that I’m not gay, nor am I bisexual. I’ve never been aroused by a man, but I’ve been in situations where I could potentially be aroused.”

Gavin Rossdale

Gavin once had a relationship in his younger years with a man but says it was just a phase: “I’ve never wanted to appear closed about it, it’s not something I’ve talked about really because it’s always been in the glare of a tabloid world, it’s just one of those things – move on. When you’re 17, Jesus Christ, I don’t think there’s anything strange about any form of anything – you’re learning about life. It’s a part of growing up – that’s it, no more, no less.”

Thomas Jane

Thomas says he was open to trying anything at a younger age: “You’re a lot more open to experimentation as a young man, and for me, being a young artist and broke in Los Angeles, I was exploring my sexual identity. And probably because of my middle-class, white blue-collar upbringing, I would have never had the opportunity to confront some of my own fears and prejudices had I not been hungry enough to be forced to challenge myself in that way.”

Tom Hardy

When asked if he has ever experimented with men, he responded: “As a boy? Of course I have. I’m an actor for f**k’s sake. I’m an artist. I’ve played with everything and everyone. But I’m not into men sexually. I love the form and the physicality, but the gay sex bit does nothing for me… To me it just doesn’t compute now that I’m into my thirties and it doesn’t do it for me. I’m done experimenting.”
