5 Stars Who Are Frugal Shoppers

They may have millions of dollars accumulated, but that doesn’t mean they have to waste their money away. These 5 stars have all spoken on how they like to save money shopping. Some say they buy cheap clothes and even enjoy finding a good bargain, or exchange clothing with friends. One star wants to cut down on her spending to make her life clutter-free, and only enjoys purchasing the occasional CD. It might seem strange, but these celebrities are just being smart with their cash, even if they do have plenty of it!

Beyonce

Beyonce doesn’t indulge in expensive items very regularly unless it is an investment: “Honestly, I’m very frugal. I haven’t bought a car since I was 16 or any diamonds since I was 17. I have a lot of property. I’ve invested my money and I don’t have to make any more, thank God, because I’m set. I’m now able really to be free and just do thngs that make me happy. It’s an effort to stay grounded.”

Juliette Lewis

Juliette doesn’t own her own home and wants to live with less clutter: “People assume I employ dwarves to carry my luggage on a red velvet carpet up to my fancy mansion. But I actually live quite frugally. My only extravagance is buying CDs. I don’t even own my own house. I sold my house in order to take my band on tour and I’ve been renting ever since. I haven’t shopped in ages and I actually plan to shop less in the future. I want my life to become more and more simple, less cluttered, so that I’m free to be in music and movies.”

Selena Gomez

Selena is a bargain hunter and won’t buy something expensive unless she thinks about it first: “When it comes to shopping I love a bargain. I don’t usually spend over the $20 mark. I feel so much better buying a top for $20 that isn’t so different from the one that costs $200. It’s really rare that I buy something expensive, and if I do, I think about it over and over before splashing out.”

Reese Witherspoon

Reese trades clothes with friends to cut costs: “There are three of us who wear pretty much the same size, so we’ll get together on a Friday night and I’ll bring clothes I want to trade and they’ll bring theirs. We swap shoes and handbags a lot. I wore my girlfriend’s dress to a wedding recently. It’s fun.”

Justin Timberlake

Justin doesn’t buy clothes very often and doesn’t believe in splurging: “I will say that I’m pretty frugal. I’ll probably shop for clothes for myself once a year, and that will last me for the rest of the year. What was it that Prince said, ‘Money can’t buy you happiness, but it can help pay for the pursuit. It’s nice to have places in Los Angeles and New York. I spend enough time in both that’s it’s nice to have a home. But I don’t need them.”
