Courteney believes it’s the healthiest option: “Breastfeeding is undoubtedly the best thing you can do for your baby. It took a lot of persevering through the weeks because my daughter didn’t latch on properly and it really hurt, but I’m happy I stayed with it because not only do I have a special bond with my child, but it’s easy now and is also extremely healthy.”

Gisele Bundchen

Gisele thinks all women should breastfeed: “Some people here think they don’t have to breastfeed, and I think ‘are you going to give chemical food to your child when they are so little?’ I think there should be a worldwide law, in my opinion, that mothers should breastfeed their babies for six months.”

Jaime King
Jaime has shared breastfeeding pics through her Instagram and thinks she is doing something positive by sharing: “It made me think about this thing within mommy-hood where there’s all this women against women stuff going on, so I posted it because I believe every woman has a right and a choice to do what she wants to do. Breastfeeding should not be taboo- and bottle feeding should not be judged- it's ALL fun for the whole family.”

Miranda shared a photo of herself breastfeeding via Instagram and defending the snap after it stirred controversy: “The photo was one of the first photos Orlando took. We both loved it and we wanted to share it. The pleasant surprise was that it also had the added benefit of promoting breastfeeding which to me is the most natural thing in the world and I love it.”

Olivia Wilde

Olivia recently breastfed in a magazine photo shoot and explained that the action was simply part of herself: “Being in front of the spotlights with Otis is perfect since any image of me at the moment isn’t complete without my identity as a mother. Otis is a part of me.”
