5 Celebrities Who Think Marijuana Should be Legalised

Marijuana’s legalisation still has people divided, but more and more people are voicing their support for legal weed, and even these 5 celebrities think it should be decriminalised, grown and sold legally. Believing it could help the economy and even cut down on resources that are being used to enforce the law, these stars believe the drug is not any more harmful than drinking alcohol and should thus be widely available. Here is what they’ve said on the subject.

Kelly Clarkson

Kelly doesn’t understand why it’s still illegal: “I cannot understand the fact that controlled narcotic substances and alcohol are legal and weed isn’t. How many people do you know who have died from weed? My point exactly.”

Megan Fox

Megan hopes the government will legalise it in the future: “I can’t tell you how much bullsh*t I’ve been through because I will openly say that I smoke weed…People look at it like it’s this crazy, hippy, f*cked up thing to do. And it’s not. I hope they legalize it.”

Morgan Freeman

Morgan thinks people will continue to smoke it: “Marijuana! Heavens, oh yeah. It’s just the stupidest law possible, given history. You don’t stop people from doing what they want to do, so forget about making it unlawful. You’re just making criminals out of people who aren’t engaged in criminal activity. And we’re spending zillions of dollars trying to fight a war we can’t win!”

Susan Sarandon

Susan says it will become legal everywhere: “It will be legal everywhere, and that will cause a very interesting tipping point.Certainly, if more people were smoking instead of drinking, people don’t get mean on weed, don’t beat up their wives on weed, and don’t drive crazy on weed. They just get hungry, don’t go out of the house, or laugh a lot. I think it would make for a much more gentle world.”

Wiz Khalifa

Wiz showed his support, suggesting that it would only improve the world as we know it: “Definitely, legalize it. Please, everybody needs it. The world would be a better place.”
