5 Celebrities Who Say They Just Get Better With Age

Some things really do get better with age, and these 5 celebrities have spoken on what they believe has improved for them as the years roll by. Some think they have finally figured out what style suits them, while others believe their looks have improved or their general confidence. Feeling mature and reflecting on the years gone by, these stars are happy with how something appears to have only become better with time.

Cameron Diaz

Cameron thinks she has been ageing well and likes how she looks now because she feels stronger: “I think beauty comes from the inside. I feel I get better with age… I look at pictures of myself when I was 21 and think, ‘Wow, I didn’t look so bad.’ But I take more care of myself now, so in a way I feel like I look better than I did then…. I feel stronger and more confident.”

George Clooney

George has embraced grey hair and also thinks his acting roles are getting better as time goes on: “I love my grey hair. I actually think my face has more of an edge and a lot more character than it did when I was in my early 30s. So I think I can have 20 more good years as an actor, if that’s what I want and if the public aren’t fed up with me. I still feel I’ve got my best work ahead of me and that I understand more about film now than I ever have. I also feel a nagging responsibility that I should keep setting the bar higher each time. I just don’t want to coast along.”

Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer thinks she has become more confident with age: “That there’s nothing to worry about — although I don’t think I had a care in the world at 25, either. That all started in my 30s, my awkward phase. I’m a little bit of a late bloomer! But it doesn’t matter to me because it just gets better. They do say youth is wasted on the young, but I feel just as youthful now, if not more, than I did when I was 25. I’m more in my body; I’m more in my mind. Life is full. Life is wonderful. We’re very, very fortunate.”

Madonna

Madonna prefers her body now that she’s older: “I like the way I look better now. My thighs aren’t as chubby. I’m not kidding. I’m being perfectly honest. I see myself as practical and handsome, and useful. I don’t think of myself as a great beauty. But I think of myself as stylish.”

Mark Ronson

Mark believes his style is much better now that he has matured: “In the beginning, when I first started wearing nice suits, in about 2007, I was psyched to finally have something nice to wear after years of just wanting to look like the Beastie Boys, wearing Pumas with fat laces and band T-shirts. But then that can involve going a bit too far. Like wearing a bright pink suit with pink shoes. Eventually, however, you gravitate towards what you’re good at. And what you can actually pull off.”
