5 Celebrities on Presidential Candidate Donald Trump

Donald Trump is running for president and celebrities have varied opinions on Trump’s approach to politics. Some just find him amusing or entertaining and aren’t taking him seriously. Others believe he’s changing politics by shaking things up and doing everything differently. There are also many who have been offended by the speeches and offensive things Trump has said openly. Here are 5 stars who’ve honestly shared their opinions.

Billy Corgan

Billy finds Donald’s approach unique and thinks he’s changing politics: “What I think is cool is Trump’s running chaos theory. He’s forcing a lot of things out in the open, so they can’t control this… It’s like the music business, everybody gets controlled, and somebody comes along who f**ks it all up. I think it’s good that he’s f**king it up, because whether or not he’s the guy, obviously the political class doesn’t want him there. It’ll open it up to a bigger dialogue.”

Cher

Cher is completely against Trump: “Donald Trump can’t come up with a hairstyle that looks human, how can he come up with a plan to defeat ISIS. If he were to be elected, I’m moving to jupiter.”

Emma Thompson

Emma believes Donald’s bid for presidency is a disaster: “Let’s face it, the Republicans have chosen Donald Trump to run — can you take anything they say seriously, on any level? I suppose you can, in the sense that many of them have power, and that’s something you guys are really going to have to address, because it’s a disaster. I think it’s terrifying.”

Owen Wilson

Owen thinks Trump is very entertaining: “I don’t know if I’m not taking it as seriously as I should. But when he said he was going down to the border and he showed up at a press conference and said, ‘Now I’m going out to the border and I hope I’ll see you later’—sort of suggesting that it was so dangerous that who knows if I’ll see you later… I don’t know, it was just funny to me. The guy is a showman. You have to sort of get a kick out of the guy. It is entertaining, for sure. That’s why people are tuning in.”

Shakira

After Trump called Mexican immigrants criminals in a speech, Shakira took to twitter to call him out: “This is a hateful and racist speech that attempts to divide a country that for years has promoted diversity and democracy! No one living in this century should stand behind so much ignorance.”
