5 Celebrities Who Say They Never Get Asked on Dates

It can be hard for anyone to muster up the courage to ask someone out, but when you’ve got to ask a celebrity out – that’s some scary stuff! These 5 stars all say they never get asked out on dates, not even from their co-stars! Some say their fame can put people off or make people to nervous when it comes to asking for a date, while others think it’s the roles they play that gives people the wrong impression before they even get to know the person off-screen. For one reason or another, these 5 hot celebs have all found themselves dateless despite their mega stardom!

Holly Valance

Holly said that her neighborhood is filled with mostly gay men, so it lessens her chances of being chatted up by guys around her: “I bought my own condo in West Hollywood. It is the ‘gaybourhood’. The most I get from men, walking home from the bar is, ‘Mmm nice shoes.'”

Robert Pattinson

Robert likes to be alone at home which might explain why he believes no one ever asks him out: “If somebody asks me out on a date, I go out with them! But I never get asked. And I never know how to ask other people. I’m not good at the whole ‘dinner’ thing. I’m a bit of a loner. I’m boring. I stay home, watch TV and eat a lot of fast food. That’s really exciting, isn’t it?”

Rachel Weisz

Rachel has said that she often feels nervous meeting new people and she believes others are probably too scared to ask her out because of her fame: “No one ever asks me to go out on a date. I suppose people must get intimidated. I get intimidated by people who are in the public eye. You meet someone who’s famous and you get scared. It’s different if you’re working with them and you get to know them. But if you just meet them somewhere. I mean, if I met Renee Zellweger at a party I’d get so nervous. It’s weird, I don’t know why.”

Mila Kunis

Mila says she stays in so regularly enjoying herself at home that no one gets the chance to ask her out: ”I don’t get asked out. This past year, I haven’t been home, so who’s going to ask me? I don’t go out very often. I prefer to stay home and have a nice little beverage and watch television. My glass of wine and I are besties.”

Lucy Liu

Lucy believes men avoid her because she often plays tough roles which gives them the wrong impression of what she’s really like: “Men never asked me out on dates. People got the impression that I am hard. But I can’t blame them, as people only know me through television and tough characters in films. In movies like Charlie’s Angles I show my softer side and I think that comes through. Actually men have started approaching me and asking me out, so I guess all the interviews and the movie really helped.”
