10 Celebrities So Awkward They’re Cute

Not everyone can be the gorgeous ingenue, right?  And I love that about hollyweird. Still, some celebrities seem so off, awkward and strange in their own skin I can only applaud them for being stars in the first place. Here are ten celebrities that are so darn awkward, they’re sorta cute.

1. Christina Ricci

She’s like a little dwarf munchkin lady, and has gone through so many permutations she’s on the same level as Cher. She always seems super happy, but in a weird zombie way.

2. Susan Boyle

nuff said.

3. Cillian Murphy

Cillian Murphy should be albino, or come freeze-dried with a bunch of sea monkeys. He’s just got this weird skin tone and those eyes that make me want to shove him in an aquarium and keep him always and forever.

4. Jeff Goldblum

He was the fly, people. And he has those weird too-far-apart eyes. And, I hear he sleeps with much younger woman. I hate to say that I find him adorable…but…bahhhh!

5. Gina Gershon

She goes from stunningly attractive to horse face, something I like to call the “Julia Roberts” effect.  Still, I’m not a scientist and I like Gershon a TON more than ol Julia. Eat Pray AWKWARD!

6. Adrian Brody

I want to have sex with Adrian Brody, but I can’t help thinking that someone broke his face and he’s permanently sad or brooding about it. Maybe it’s the nose? Or the droopy eyes? Who knows.

7. Ke$ha

Ke$ha (I hate spelling her name) looks like she got in her mom’s dress and makeup bin, you know, the one that Mommy was planning on giving to Goodwill.  Seriously?  She’s so freaking awkward in all that glitzy getup. Also, she always looks confused and like someone just punched her.  Yeah, that’s got to be part of it.

8 Amy Winehouse

Know what’s so awkward about her? The fact that she near-constantly has her hair extensions in awkward places (like bras and armpits). Oh yeah, and she’s also usually hammered. Still, it’s sort of adorable, like a car wreck you can’t stop staring at.

9 Joan Cusack

I feel like Joan Cusack woke up one morning and her face didn’t fit right.  Am I alone in this? I mean, I love her to death but she’s got this endearing awkward mumbly thing happening.

10. Melissa Joan Hart

God, MJH is like the QUEEN of awkward. She is always looking like she stumbled into a photo opp, and her makeup and clothes don’t fit her right. Was she like this in Clarissa Explains it All? Not sure. What I do know is that she has a droopy-eye and I LOVE IT.
